Destinations: Beijing, Tunxi (Huangshan Mountain), Shanghai

Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing

Depart on your flight bound for Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 Beijing

Warm-up biking tour to the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years, you will also get the chance to stroll through Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. In the afternoon, you will cycle through the local Hutong neighborhood.

Day 3 Beijing

Today you will visit the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. Then bike to local countryside village. Evening enjoy the fantastic Kung Fu Show.

Day 4 Beijing / Tunxi

In this morning, you will admire the beauty of Summer Palace. Then you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Tunxi, which lies in the upper reaches of the Xin An River. Check in the local hotel in the evening after the dinner. You can also enjoy a leisure walk along the ancient cultural street of Tunxi city.

Day 5 Tunxi

Full day trekking along the river and visit the interesting local market. Check in the local guesthouse in the evening.

Day 6 Tunxi / Yi Xian / Tunxi

Travel to Yi Xian County today where you will trek in the bamboo forest, etc. This area is famous the well reserved architectures, ancient traditions and customs from Sung Dynasty.

Day 7 Tunxi / Qi Yun Mountain / Tunxi

Today you will visit the Qi Yun Mountain (Landform of Rosy Clouds) that is one of the four holy Taoist mountains in China.

Day 8 Tunxi / Huangshan Mountain

Take the bus to Huangshan Mountain and trek to Ban Shan Temple for overnight. Huangshan Mountain in east China's Anhui province is one of China's best-known scenic spots, celebrated for having all the wonders of alpine scenery.

Day 9 Huangshan Mountain

Trek to Yu Ping Lou area for overnight.

Day 10 Huangshan Mountain

Trek to for Guangmingding Summit and stay overnight at Beihai area.

Day 11 Huangshan Mountain

Trek to Bai E Ling for overnight.

Day 12 Huangshan Mountain / Tunxi / Shanghai

Trek to Yun Gu Temple and then take the bus back to Tunxi. After dinner you will board the flight to Shanghai, the biggest city of China. Arrival and transferred to your hotel.

Day 13 Shanghai

Visit the world famous waterfront - The Bund. It was once part of the foreign concessions and out-of-bounds to locals. Then explore the magnificent Nanjing Road and the Jade Buddha Temple that is famous for its 2 Jade Buddha. After dinner, proceed for a city tour to Pudong New District - Shanghai's main financial district and enjoy a scenic night cruise on Huangpu River.

Day 14 Depart

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight.
