Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing

Depart on your flight bound for Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 Beijing

Full-day tour will begin at the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years, you will get the chance to stroll through Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. This evening, you are invited to an authentic Peking duck banquet.

Day 3 Beijing

A full-day tour will take in the grandeur of the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. On the way back to Beijing stop and visit the sacred Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried.

Day 4 Beijing

After breakfast, admire the beauty of The Temple of Heaven where the Chinese emperors prayed for good harvest in ancient days. Then continue to witness the splendor of the Summer Palace,built as a royal garden for Qing Dynasty Emperors.

Day 5 Beijing / Xian

A wonderful Rickshaw tour brings you to visit the Hutong area, the authentic residential area of local Beijing citizens. After a pleasant lunch with the local family, you will fly to the ancient capital city of Xian. Arrival and check into the hotel.

Day 6 Xian

Full-day tour to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses Museum, The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Tonight you will be invited to attend two local specialities, Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 7 Xian / Chongqing / Yangtze River Cruise

Today you will fly to the mountain city of Chongqing. After a short visit to the major sightseeing, you will board the five-star Yangtze River Cruiser and start the most memorable Yangtze experience.

Day 08 Cruising / Fengdu

You arise early for a spectacular journey on the mighty Yangtze River. After lunch, disembark at ancient Fengdu, the legendary city of ghost. Here you can explore the local temples before returning aboard to attend the welcome banquet.

Day 09 Cruising / Shennong Stream

Today you will shore excursion of Shennong Stream. A sampan tour will allow you to experience a high speed adventure along this newly opened unspoiled river. Sailing through the treacherous gorges with lush pine and translucent water, visitors can see spectacular sights like ancient plank roads, ancient suspension coffins, aqueous caves, rainbow fountain and wild lives. You will also learn a lot of custom and folk song of the Tu Minority and see the dance show.

Day 10 Cruising / Yichang

You will shore excursion of Three Gorges Dam today and continue to sail on to Wuhan at the conjunction of Yangtze River.

Day 11 Wuhan / Shanghai

Disembark at Wuhan in this morning. After an interesting visit to Hubei Provincial History, you will fly to Shanghai, the biggest city and commercial centre of China. Meet and transferred to your hotel.

Day 12 Shanghai

Today you will visit the Yu Garden and take a leisure walk along the beautiful Bund, in the afternoon, enjoy the free shopping time at the famous Nanjing Road. Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The true treasure of Yuyuan Garden is the Exquisite Jade Rock. The most visible reminder of Shanghai's colonial heritage, the Bund attracts millions of visitors from home and abroad each year.

Day 13 Shanghai / Guilin

In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Guilin. Arrival and enjoy a city tour to the famous Reed Flute Cave. Reed Flute Cave got its name because people believed that the reed by the cave's mouth could be made into flutes. Check in the hotel.

Day 14 Guilin

Experience a leisure cruise tour along the scenic Li River, and then visit the local villages by bike. Return Guilin in the afternoon. Li River is the soul of Guilin scenery. It is the river of poems and paintings. The region covers 83-km karst area with clear, exotic, ingenious and changing characteristics.

Day 15 Guilin / Hong Kong

Today you will fly onto Hong Kong. Met and transferred to your centrally located hotel.

Day 16 Hong Kong

Enjoy a private island tour.

Day 17 Depart

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight and complete the most relaxing China Senior Tour.
