Destinations: Beijing, Guilin, Yangshuo, Shanghai, Suzhou
Depart on your flight bound for Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing (B)
Warm-up biking tour to the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years, you will also get the chance to stroll through Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. In the afternoon, you will cycle through the local Hutong neighborhood.
Day 3 Beijing (B)
A full-day tour will take in the grandeur of the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. On the way back to Beijing stop and bike to local countryside village.
Day 4 Beijing (B)
You will cycle to the 2008 Beijing Olympic site. In this afternoon, admire the beauty of Summer Palace, built as a royal garden for Qing Dynasty Emperors.
Day 5 Beijing (B)
Full-day city explores by bike including the well-known attractions, Bell Tower, Yonghe Lamasery and City Wall, etc. Yonghe Lamasery was once an important center of Tibetan Lamaism, and some 200 monks still live, study and pray there.
Day 6 Beijing / Guilin (B)
In this morning, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to the most scenic city of Guilin, arrival and followed by an afternoon tour to Reed Flute Cave. Reed Flute Cave got its name because people believed that the reed by the cave's mouth could be made into flutes. Check into the local hotel tonight.
Day 7 Guilin / Xingping (B)
After breakfast, cycle through the picturesque landscape of southern China, white clouds against blue skies, patches of exquisitely cultivated rice fields dotted with greenish hills soaring up, winding country roads lined with fruit trees like grapefruit, orange and osmanthus trees, farmers with bamboo cats and their water buffalos plowing the rice paddies… Enjoy this scenic riding and temporarily stay away from the hassle lives. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for a good relaxation.
Day 8 Xingping / Yangshuo (B)
In the morning, enjoy a leisure bamboo rafter tour along the scenic Li River. Li River is the soul of Guilin scenery. It is the river of poems and paintings. Then continue cycling to Yangshuo and enjoy the beautiful country scenery.
Day 9 Yangshuo / Guilin (B)
Arise early and bike through Shili Gallery, which offers stunning views of the peculiar karst formations. Then cycle uphill and get to Seven Immortals Tea Plantation. Appreciate the beauties from the atop and taste one of the best green teas grown in the blessed area partially shrouded by mist and showered by sunshine. Descend the hill and travel back to Guilin collectively by coach.
Day 10 Guilin / Shanghai (B)
You will be transferred to the airport and fly onto Shanghai, the biggest city of China. Arrival and transferred to your hotel. Visit the world-famous waterfront - The Bund. It was once part of the foreign concessions and out-of-bounds to locals. Then explore the magnificent Nanjing Road and the Jade Buddha Temple that is famous for its Jade Buddha.
Day 11 Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai (B)
Trave to Suzhou by coach. Upon arrival, visit the Lingering Garden and the Tiger Hills, which has a number of historical sites - Tiger Hill, Leaning Pagoda, Tomb of King He Lu, Sword pool, Sword testing pool and Luyu Well. Return to Shanghai in late afternoon.
Day 12 Shanghai (B)
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight.
