Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive in Beijing

Depart on your flight bound for Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 Beijing

Full-day tour will begin at the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years, you will get the chance to stroll through Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. This evening, you are invited to an authentic Peking duck banquet.

Day 3 Beijing

A full-day tour will take in the grandeur of the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. On the way back to Beijing stop and visit the sacred Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried.

Day 4 Beijing

Morning visit to the oldest Catholic Church in Beijing, North Cathedral of Beijing, and then you will travel to admire the beauty of the Temple of Heaven where the Chinese emperors prayed for good harvest in ancient days. Then continue to witness the splendor of the Summer Palace, built as a royal garden for Qing Dynasty Emperors.

Day 5 Beijing / Xian

In this morning, you will visit Wangfujing Church that is one of the four biggest Catholic Churches in Beijing. Then you will visit the tomb of Matteo Ricci, founder of the Catholic missions of China. Later in the afternoon, you will fly to the ancient capital city of Xian, arrival and check into the hotel.

Day 6 Xian

Full-day tour to the famous Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses Museum and Forest of Stone Tablets Museum where you will see a historical record on a stone stele about the introduction of Catholicism into China in the year 635 during the Tang Dynasty (618- 907). Tonight you will be invited to attend two local specialities, Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 7 Xian / Guilin

After a visit to the most famous Catholic Church in Xian at Wuxing Street, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Guilin. Arrival and check in the hotel. The afternoon visit will bring you the Elephant Trunk Hill. Elephant Trunk Hill is located on the western bank of Li River Scenery. The shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river.

Day 8 Guilin

Experience a leisure cruise tour along the scenic Li River, and then visit the local villages by bike. Return Guilin in the afternoon. Li River is the soul of Guilin scenery. It is the river of poems and paintings. The region covers 83-km karst area with clear, exotic, ingenious and changing characteristics.

Day 9 Guilin / Shanghai

Fly to Shanghai today. Meet and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Yu Garden and the famous Bund. Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The true treasure of Yuyuan Garden is the Exquisite Jade Rock. The most visible reminder of Shanghai's colonial heritage, the Bund attracts millions of visitors from home and abroad each year.

Day 10 Shanghai

Morning tour to Sheshan Catholic Church that is a typical Roman church and built in 1875, the tower fortress type architecture looks magnificent and imposing. It is known as the second grandest church in East Asia. After lunch, you will travel to the ancient water town of Tongli and enjoy the sampan ride along the Grand Canal.

Day 11 Shanghai

Enjoy a full-day free time to explore on you own.

Day 12 Depart

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight and complete the most interesting China Religious Tours.
