Golden Pebble Beach
Located on the coast of the Yellow Sea southeast of Jinzhou District and 58 square kilometers from the center of Dalian, Golden Pebble Beach covers an area of 62 square kilometers, and is one of Mother Nature's better creations. This famous beach combines the elements of sea, beaches, cliffs and islands all in one place. Of special interest are the peculiar geological formations; the sedimentary rock, eroded by the sea over the years has taken on unusual and beautiful forms, such as "Huge roc spreading its wings", "Dinosaur swallowing the sea". The images are as vivid as life and as grand as you can imagine which gain the title of "the solidified animal world".

Tiger Beach Scenic Area
As the best-known scenic area in Dalian, the Tiger Beach scenic area is located in the south coast of Dalian. It covers an area of 1.88 million square meters with 4,000 meters long coastline. The name of the beach is derived from the fact that a rock outcropping in the sea looks like a sleeping tiger. To the eastern part is the Tiger Beach Park covers 15700 square meters, highlighting the largest granite sculpture in China, where "the running tigers sculpture"- the largest animal sculpture in the world. Six vivid sculpture tigers make the irregular square the most outstanding among dozens of squares in Dalian.

Sun Asia Ocean World
Located at the famous Xinghai Park, Sun Asia Ocean World with nearly one hundred million RMB of investment is the only one of its kind in China where aquaria are arranged along a passage under the teal sea. With its length of 118 meters, it has been found to be the longest under-sea passage in Asia. At Sun Asia Ocean World, some 7,000 fish of about 200 species make their homes which give real life scenes of ocean creatures with a rich array of fantastic and spectacular views. Walking in the unique under-sea passage, you can get up close and personal with exotic fishes, sharks and other sea life.

Forest Zoo
Built in 1997, the forest Zoo is located at Baiyunyanshui Scenic Area. The zoo is the beautiful national tourist spot in the south of Dalian, which covers an area of 7.2 square kilometers and boasts the biggest zoo in North China. The whole zoo is divided into six parts: herbivorous animals site, lions and tiger hill, black orangutans garden, monkey hill, bear hill, and Asian-elephant place. The Zoo exhibits about 130 kinds of animals. The Integrated District contains pandas, lesser pandas, flamingos, and etc. Three viaducts connect the South section with North section. There are sightseeing trains in the Zoo.
