Originally built in 1902, Dalian Botanical Garden covers an area of 40,000 square meters. In the garden, lots of rare trees and plants from Northeast China and Inner Mongolia have been kept. The Garden has been renovated several times since 1950. It has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dalian.
The botanical garden has had its infrastructure reconstructed since 2003. The renovated "Yingsongchi Pond" at Dalian Botanical garden is suggested a good choice. Fishing anglers mirrored in the water beyond the mountain form a picture of countryside, which would relax you out of the busy metropolitan life. The sightseeing stand had a face-lifting and the fries were put into the "Yingsongchi Pond" which has been dried for three years.
