By Air
The Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport is located in the Yongding district, 5 kilometers from the city proper. The airport has direct flights to Changsha, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Xiamen, Hong kong and other cities in China.
By Train
The Zhangjiajie Railway Station provides railway service nonstop to big or medium-sized cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanning, Guangzhou, Changsha, etc., linking with the Jing-Guang Railroad via the railway between Shimen and Changsha.
By Road
At present, the highway system links the city and countryside, covering with five provinces and many cities. The highway between Zhangjiajie and Changde was completed in 2005.
By Taxi
Taxies can be found everywhere in the city. Fares vary slightly depending on the size of the vehicle. Generally, the basic charge is 6 RMB with another 1.2 RMB for every additional kilometer.
