Itinerary:

Day 01. Beijing Arrival

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of People's Republic of China. Meet your guide and transfer to four star hotel.

Day 02. Beijing (B. L)

Today visit Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Next continue to the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years. Then visit Summer Palace, which was built as a royal garden for Qing Dynasty Emperors.

Day 03. Beijing (B. L)

A day tour will take in the grandeur of The Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. You will visit Shichahai area and then enjoy shopping at the Silk Alley market of Beijing.

Day 04. Beijing / Datong (B. L)

Pick up at your hotel and then drive to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing. In the afternoon, take hard-sleeper train to Datong. Meet and transfer to 4-star hotel for rest.

Day 05 Datong / Pingyao (B, L)

Today you will visit the Yungang grottoes, known as one of China's three major treasure houses of arts and listed as world cultural heritage by UNESCO. You will drive to Pingyao and visit Hanging Monastery on the way. Hanging Monastery, constructed closely against the cliff, resting on beams partly inserted into the rocks and suspended high up in the air.

Day 06 Pingyao / Xian (B, L)

Visit the ancient Pingyao town, including Ri Sheng Chang remittance bank, Ancient Government Office, etc. Then enjoy a relaxing time to stroll along the Ming and Qing street. In the evening, take bullet train to Xian. Meet and transfer to hotel for rest.

Day 07 Xian (B, L)

In the morning, you will go to the park around the city wall. You will see the local citizens do the morning exercise there. Then, you will drive to visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum. You will visit the shop and see how the Terra Cotta Warriors is made. After lunch, driver back to the city and visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Saquare in the very heart of Xian City. Following is the Great Mosque at the Muslim quarter. This Mosque is only one in China that perfectly combines the Muslim customs and Chinese culture, and features like a unique garden.

Day 08 Xian / Luoyang (B, L)

Today you will take a city tour to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi Provincial Historic Museum. After lunch enjoy a leisure stroll on the top of the Ancient City Wall, the best preserved in the world, followed by a wander on the famous Shuyuanmen Culture Street to appreciate the delicate traditional art crafts. Take bullet train to Luoyang in the evening and check in 4-star hotel.

Day 09 Luoyang / Zhengzhou (B, L)

After breakfast, visit the Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. Together with Mogao Caves, Yungang Caves, Longmen Caves is known as the three great sculpture treasure houses of China. Then drive to visit Shaolin Temple in the mountains of Songshan in Dengfeng. Then depart to the capital city of Henan Province, Zhengzhou. Transfer to Zhengzhou in the late afternoon.

Day 10 Zhengzhou / Beijing (B)

Today take a morning bullet train to Beijing. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Enjoy last free shopping day in Beijing.

Day 11 Beijing (B)

Today you will be transferred to airport and board the flight home.
