Itinerary

Pick up from Tianjin Xingang Port according to the cruise arrival time. Drive about 3.5hrs to the less touristy Mutianyu Great Wall that is one of the best-preserved and best-known Great Wall sections. The Great Wall at Mutianyu section has breath-taking scenery but fewer tourists, where watchtowers are tensely distributed. It requires a little more physical capability for the climbing. However cable car (optional cost: CNY120/US$18 pp) is available here to provide you a more comfortable and easier time. You will have a free walk on the wall after the guide’s informative presentation on the history and culture of the Great Wall. Afterwards, if time permits, you will also enjoy a short free time at the Olympic Park for photos (including Bird’s Nest and Water Cube) OR at the 798 Art Gallery that now is an area almost exclusively dedicated to art galleries, design shops and western-style cafes. After the tour, transfer back to Tianjin Xingang Port 2 hours before your cruise departure time.
