Itinerary

Pick up from Tianjin Xingang Port according to the cruise arrival time. Drive about 3.5hrs to Badaling Great Wall, one of the most awesome sights in the world, and also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000. It is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes. You will have a soft hike on the wall or if you want a more comfortable experience, you can take the cable car (optional cost: CNY140/US$22 pp). Afterwards, if time permits you will enjoy a short free time at the Olympic Park for photos (including Bird’s Nest and Water Cube) OR at the 798 Art Gallery that now is an area almost exclusively dedicated to art galleries, design shops and western-style cafes. After the tour, transfer back to Tianjin Xingang Port 2 hours before your cruise departure time.
