Shenzhen Airport is about 35 Kilometers from downtown with 76 routes and flights connecting 41 major cities in the country. In addition, there are direct international flights to and from Bangkok, Singapore, and Jakarta. The Airport ranks No. 1 in the nation for its quality of services.
By Train
From inland cities, two major railways - the Great Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Beijing-Guangdong-Kowloon railway meet at Shenzhen and connect inland cities, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong together. Three long-range trains connect directly to Shenzhen from Beijing, Changsha (Hunan), and Jiujiang (Wuhan). In addition, 11 trains arrive at Guangzhou from Tianjin, Wuchang, Nanchang, Shenyang, Beijing West, Hefei, Shanghai, etc. The high-speed railway between Guangzhou and Shenzhen is No. 1 in the nation, with 40 trains scheduled each day. From Hong Kong - Shenzhen is the middle of the Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway. There are frequent trains running each day between the two cities. The time it takes from Kowloon to Shenzhen is about 35 minutes.
By Bus or Car
Shenzhen has a well-developed road system including several highways with Guangzhou-Shenzhen Highway on the east, Meilin-Guanlan Highway in the center, Shenzhen-Shantou Highway on the west, and Airport-Henggang-He'ao Highway on the North. There are numerous publicly run as well as privately run bus services in Shenzhen. Eight long-distance bus stations connect many cities with Shenzhen. Every 15 minutes, there is a bus departing from Hong Kong and arriving at Shenzhen.
