The Qingdao Airport is located 33km north of the city proper. It is the second largest airport in east China. Qingdao is easily accessible by air from almost all the major cities in China. It has seven international routes to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Seoul, Singapore, Hongkong and Qindao. The airline shuttle bus runs from 6:30am-7:30pm, Y20 between the airport and the Qingdao downtown area. It generally costs Y100 to take a taxi.
By Train
The train station is located just to the east end of Zhongshan Road, just up from the Number Six Beach. The city has a railway connection via the Jiaoji Railway. From here, trains run daily directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan and many more. To destinations within the province, such as Tai'an, Ji'nan and Yantai, there is at least one train available per day.

Qingdao Port Passenger Terminal is a member of the Long-distance Sea Transportation Enterprise of Qingdao, which is located at 6 Xinjiang Road. The port has two passenger transport lines: Qingdao to Inchon, Korea and Qingdao to Shimonoseki, Japan. Its service facilities include a baggage office, duty free shop, canteen, and post office.
By Taxi
The taxi service in Qingdao is of high quality and reasonable price. Fares vary slightly depending on the size of the taxi. Generally most taxis charge a base fee of Y7 for 4 kilometers and Y 1.1/kilometer for extra distance. 10pm-5am 30% +. Remember to claim a receipt from the driver, which is helpful in case of lost belongings.
