Ningbo Lishe Airport is located about 30 kilometers away from Ningbo downtown area. Now 31 air routes have been opened to Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, Shenyang, Harbin, Shenzhen, Guilin, Chengdu, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Changsha, Shantou, Haikou, Dalian, Chongqing, Zhuhai, Jingjiang, Guiyang, Kunming and Hong Kong. In 2000, 1.18 million passengers departed from and arrived at the airport and 22,000-ton freights were handled. It is now among the busiest airports in China. The shuttle bus (6:30AM-7PM, RMB10) runs between the airport and the Ningbo city center every day. It costs about RMB 60 to take a taxi.

By Train

Ningbo passenger Train Station is of the top class in China. The waiting hall covers an area of 5,060 square meters and can hold 2,500 passengers. As a first-class freight transport station, Ningbo North Railway Station covers 0.358 million square meters equipped with 648 stack points, 15 freight handling lines, and 16 railway lines for special purposes. It provides trainload and less-than-trainload freight service, container service, and joint water-land freight service.

By Boat

The Port of Ningbo, famous for its deep-water, smooth current, a calm sea, vast dockland, no freeze and no silt, is one of the four international deep-water ports along China's coastline on which the State has laid great emphasis to develop.17 sets of 25,000-ton trade berth have been built in the harbor that can even berth the 30,000-ton super-freighter and the international container of the 5th generation. At present shipping lines to 518 harbors of 84 countries worldwide have been opened in the Ningbo Harbor.

By Taxi

It's easy to take a taxi in Ningbo. All of the taxies are metered and the price varies differently according to the size. Generally it costs RMB 5 as the base for two meters and RMB 1.2 for one additional kilometer.
