Itinerary

Day 1 Kunming (L)

Arrive in Kunming, the Spring City of China. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to the centrally located four-star New Era Hotel. After a little rest, continue to visit the Western Hills where Taoist temples and Buddhism Temples could be found. A very beautiful lake view of the Dianchi Lake comes into your eyes if being on the top of the Hills Dragon Gate. On the way down, visit the Huating Temple that has 500 sculptures of disciples of the Buddha. If time permits, you will also pay a visit to the Yuantong Temple, the grandest and most active temple in Kunming with a history of more than 1200 years. Lunch will be arranged at a city center local courtyard restaurants.

Day 2 Kunming (B, L)

A full day excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, one of the natural wonders of the area, and a typical Karstic Landscape. After lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant to taste the local Yunnan flavor, drive back to the city. On your way back, visit the Yunnan Provincial Museum which preserves many historical relics unearthed within the area of Kunming since 1950s. Transfer to the airport and fly to the next destination.
