Jiayuguan Transportation

Air

Jiayuguan Airport is situated northeast of the city, about 12 km from the downtown area. The airport has flights to Dunhuang, Lanzhou, Urumqi, and Xi'an, every week.

Train

The Lan-Xin and Gan-Xin rail lines pass through Jiayuguan and Jiayuguan station. The railway station is located on Yingbin Rd, about 5 km from the city proper. It links Jiayuguan with Urumqi, Lanzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou and other cities.

Road

National highway No.312 crosses the city. Road conditions in the city are good. Tourists can travel to Lanzhou, Dunhuang, Urumqi, Mongolia and Qinghai Province very conveniently.

Taxi

There are abundant taxies in Jiayuguan and fares vary according to the size of the vehicle.
