Hetian Transportation

Air

The airport is about 12 km from the city proper and has shuttle flights to Urumqi every day.

Train

There is no rail service to Hetian.

Road

National highway No.315 passes through Hetian and links the city with Kashgar, Minfeng, Yecheng, Luntai, and other cities in the province. The road condition is good. Other expressways are under construction.

Taxi

Hetian and most tourist attractions are located in the desert and the most convenient way to get around is to rent a jeep, which are available around the city.
