Beijing has the widest choice of shopping of anywhere in China. You will find carpets, silk, cloisonné, lacquered items, jade carvings and embroidery. There are five main shopping districts. Description: Also known as Silk Alley. Best buys are silk garments and down jackets. Bargain hard and don't expect the designer logos to be authentic.
