The Site of General's Administrative Office of Suiyuancheng

General's office is located in the new town district of Hohhot. In order to strengthen the northwestern frontier defense, the town was built up in about 2.5 kilometers northeast of the old town of Hohhot and served as a fort where the Eight Banner's officers and soldiers stationed there. The construction of the town began in the thirteenth year of Yongzheng Age (1735), and was completed in the fourth year of Qianlong Age (1739). It was named Suiyuancheng.
