Situated 1.24 miles to the city proper, there used to be the capital for the Jin Dynasty. It was built between 1115 and 1234 A.D. by a nomadic tribe that settled down at what was considered the remote frontier of its powerful neighbor.
Much effort has been taken to well preserve the remains of the city. You can still find relics of the Wu Gate (the main gate of the palaces), the palace, the city wall and the city moat.
