We were in Hong Kong as one of our stops on a Far East cruise, it was to have been a longer stop,our ship was due to sail at 0200hrs, everybody was delighted to be staying long enough to see the night markets & the light show.
But in view of the continuing riots our vist was cut short, the ship rescheduled to leave at 1900hrs as further unrest was expected that evening.
Everybody was very sad about this but our tour, now rescheduled for early morning was so enjoyable,Alex was our guide, very knowledgeable, very friendly & helpful.
Our approach & arrival were in a huge thunderstorm,by the time we reached Victoria Peak that had cleared away to reveal marvelous views,the rest of our tour proved equally as rewarding,sad to not see more but so grateful to China Connection Tours & especially Alex who was a marvelous guide & Jason who I had contacted before our departure who was always so helpful,for the tour,hopefully one day we may be back to see what we missed this time!
