We must thank Eric for helping us experience an amazing fortnight in China. He ensured that at every stop we had an excellent guide, who spoke very good English accompanied us. The service we received from each of these lovely ladies was more than we had hoped for and they very generously and kindly helped us navigate the trip, but also suggested some amazing locations and restaurants for us to explore on our own.
Our trip was personalized by Eric, but further personalized by our wonderful guides - which included Beijing (guide Lily), Xian (Becky), Lhasa Tibet (Dekyi) and Chengdu (Cecilia). We took the bullet train to Xian, the overnight sleeper train to Tibet and 2 internal flights, all of which were timed brilliantly so that there was no stress.
Of course the amazing sights we saw were memorable, but so too were the lovely ladies that guided our family.
From my first contact with Eric (who patiently answer questions, made itinerary changes, provided advice on Visas and altitude sickness), through to the guides, drivers and hotel accommodation - each had its own character and personality but each made our trip very special.
Final thank you for the 20th wedding anniversary cake which was delivered to our room in Chengdu - since China is the traditional gift for 20th anniversaries, just being there was special but thanks to the thoughtfulness of Eric, it was even more so!
