Hi Eric,

Trevor and I have just returned from the most wonderful trip in China and I am writing to thank you for your planning and the smooth implementation of the tour.

Firstly Eric we gave you a very small amount of time to organise our tour and every detail was taken care of by you – thank you.

We arrived in Beijing to be met by Zoe who looked after us for three days – we got to know Zoe and driver very well and we had an amazing time with them. Zoe thoughtfully reorganised activities to suit weather and traffic and to make sure we saw everything we wanted and fitted in shopping and a tea ceremony. We were looked after from the minute we were met until we said goodbye at the airport. Zoe’s English was outstanding as she majored in English which meant we could then discuss all sorts of things beyond the tour – just wonderful. 

Next we flew to Xian and were met by the outstanding guide of the trip Milly – in your own province. Milly and her driver went out of their way to make sure our two days were very memorable. At the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum Milly was amazing in her knowledge of everything – turns out she had been a guide there while studying. We certainly appreciated that extra skill and knowledge. Milly changed the night for our Dumpling Dinner & Tang Dynasty Show as she thought we would be too tired – she had thought about how early we had to get up to get our flight to Xian We had in fact got up at 4.30am and were worried we would be too tired to enjoy the show. Before the show (now on second day) we had an hour to spare and Milly organised a Chinese massage – not in the itinerary and a real treat. Nothing was too much trouble for Milly who offered to assist with other activities if we needed her outside the tour itinerary. We were sad to say goodbye to her at the airport.

Then on the plane to Shanghai our last stop. Here we were met by Jack - we went straight to hotel (Ramada – chosen by me as I was going to be staying there for a conference after our tour) Jack was stunning as there was confusion as Trevor had paid for one night and I had paid the conference organisers who organised another 6 nights so in my name and conference name – but Jack sorted all that out and we stayed in same room the whole 7 nights. I would not use the Ramada on any of your tours!! Next day we were to have a day tour and then I started my conference and the following day Trevor was to have a second day with Jack. 

At the conference (1500 in attendance) many participants had also organised tours before the conference and I heard about awful experiences about not going to where they had organised, guides not turning up or leaving them stranded – was able to promote yourself and your tours as our experience with you and your company was outstanding.
