We had a great trip and I am more than happy to answer your questions.

1. The guides were fantastic – Tina was a well informed and happy person willing to share her life with us. Leo was also well informed and had a lively personality – the trip to the silk factory was great – the only problem was we didn’t have enough money to buy all we would have liked!!! Our favourite stop was the terracotta warrior factory – we spend quite a lot of time there and really enjoyed looking at the artworks. At no time did we feel pressured to buy anything and as we had a limited budget for souvenirs it worked out well.

2. The driver and the vehicle in Xian were lovely – the driver was always on time and drove carefully, the vehicle was keep clean and air conditioned and the complimentary water much appreciated. 

3. The lunches were excellent however I do not recall asking for a vegetarian meal – we would have preferred a meal with meat. The private room and meal at the Terracotta warriors was the best on the trip.

4. The hotels were good, particularly in Shanghai, unfortunately the air conditioning did not work in either of the rooms and we had to move rooms. The breakfasts at both hotels were lovely – good, well prepared food with a good variety. 

5. The train drop offs and pickups were well organised and we especially appreciate Tina’s extra care in accompanying us right to the carriage. The four berth carriage was as expected – fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The children really enjoyed the two berth train, the private washroom made all the difference!

So all in all it was a good trip and I really appreciate all the hard work you must have done so everything ran smoothly, I have no hesitation in recommending both you and the company to my friends and family.
