Hi Sunny,

We did have a very good trip. Mary did a great job providing information on the sites we visited and on Sichuan and China in general. The food that she ordered for our lunches was perfect- she ordered something for everyone and I don't think we had any dish twice on the trip. We all appreciated the great effort that Mary and Ms. He went through in order to buy a birthday cake for Aunt Libby. It was a nice surprise. 

Ms. He was a wonderful driver. We always felt safe, which is not always easy to achieve in China!

The tour was good- thank you for all of your advice. The highlight for me was the pandas. Bifengxia was a great place to see them. The walk down Ermeishan was also beautiful. I really liked that Mary was willing to be flexible to meet our requests as the tour went on. He suggestion to visit Jili street at night was perfect. It is not somewhere that I would recommend to everyone- I prefer more authentic shopping (such as the area Mary took us to to shop for furniture) to shopping geared for tourists. This was our aunt's first trip to China and she really enjoyed herself for the entire time.

As I mentioned to you when we spoke on the tour, the first hotel was disappointing- mostly due to the heating system. They were not going to turn the heat on until 9pm, even though we checked in at 5pm and the heat went off in the middle of the night. There were also no restaurant options other than in the hotel and we would have preferred to eat elsewhere.
