It was a great trip!! We all enjoyed touring the beautiful country & shopping in town. The hotels, food, bus rides were outstanding. The itinerary was well planned & everything worked smoothly as well. Thanks to you all, April & other local guides worked very hard to take good care of us & made the trip very fun.
Regardless the pretty scenery of Huanglong Mountain, only one of us made it to the mountain top to see the temple. The rest of us succumbed to the high altitude sickness even with the help of oxygen tanks. Jiuzhai Valley was out of this world. We were all moved by the beauty of the waterfalls, the clear water pools...the only drawback was the place was too crowded.
I think we all enjoyed the last part of the tour the most. Many of us fell in love with the uncontaminated beauty of the Yunnan landscapes & the colorful minority tribes. The local tour guide in Kunming was very knowledgeable of the culture, history and the people of Yunnan that made the tour much more interesting.
This was one of the most enjoyable trips I ever had. I am looking forward to plan our next trip with your expertise.
